I have taken the past 5 years off from my career to raise my family. When entering back into the workforce\, I wanted to do something that could reach and empower women. What better way to start than opening a women-owned glam service business? \nStarting a women-owned business comes with its own unique set of challenges and opportunities. Signing a lease and making all contractual obligations in January prior to the pandemic was no different. Construction had to go on and doors had to open at the height of the pandemic with no financial backing or PPP to be had due to the timing circumstances. When most would run away from opening a business (and trust me I wanted to) I had to run towards it. The fear made us stronger and we developed an amazing team of stylists and staff. \nWe are offering more than just a hairstyle\, we are offering an experience. We are striving to empower women by creating a warm\, welcome and inclusive environment and provide an experience that leaves women feeling beautiful from the inside out. A place where they can come sit down and have a cup of coffee or glass of wine and relax. I want to create something to inspire not only my own children but also other female entrepreneurs\, along with our staff.
