SUMMARY:Jabber & Java with the Young Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Calling all greater Arlington young professionals\, join YP for Jabber & Java on Friday\, September 5! Start your morning with coffee & conversation alongside fellow YP chamber members. \nWhether you’re new to the area or looking to expand your network\, our monthly coffee meetup offers the perfect casual setting to build relationships that can help your career flourish. This is a FREE event for Chamber members. \nCatch us on the second Friday of every month and be part of our growing community of young leaders. No agenda\, no pressure – just genuine conversations over your favorite brew. \nAbout Big Brother Big Sisters of Greater Tarrant County \nBig Brothers Big Sisters helps children realize their potential and build their futures. Through youth mentoring we nurture children and strengthen communities. And we couldn’t do any of it without you. Volunteer to become a Big and mentor a waiting child in your local community. \nSince 1904\, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network\, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful\, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”)\, ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. \nBBBS Lone Star is the premier volunteer led youth mentoring organization in Texas. Changing the life of a child in Dallas\, Collin County\, Greater Houston\, Fort Worth\, Arlington\, Abilene\, Stephenville\, and Wichita Falls is shockingly simple. Whether you choose to become a volunteer one-to-mentor for a local child or donate to support mentorship of local children\, your contribution will change a life trajectory. Stand with us.
