You will learn about the history of the campus\, their plans for the future and the different programs they offer at UTA. \nPlease wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water because UTA is a huge campus. This tour will also take place whether rain or shine so please dress accordingly.  \nParking for all tours is available in the Park South Garage on South Center Street. Spaces reserved for visitors of the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center are located on the first-floor ramp of Park South. Guests are required to bring their license plate number upon arrival at the Welcome Center to avoid receiving a parking ticket.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Chamber Ambassadors for a Ribbon Cutting with David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation! \nThe David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation is a non-profit established in 1995 and located in Grand Prairie. In October 2021\, our founder\, Rodney DeBaun\, celebrated his 28th year anniversary of receiving his heart transplant from 22-year-old Air Force 2nd Lt. David Nicklas. \nOur mission is to promote organ donor awareness and to provide fully furnished rent-free housing for transplant patients who live too far from a transplant center. Thus far\, we have helped 113 transplant patients from 15 states\, aged 3 months to 77 years. Since 1997\, we have happily awarded over $150\,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors enrolled in Grand Prairie ISD. \nRodney is a pilot and owns planes\, so when his schedule allows\, he will proudly provide no-cost air transport to disabled military veterans within a 2-hour radius from our hanger in Grand Prairie. \nWe welcome all to this exciting Ribbon Cutting at The Retreat\, a luxury senior property that is one of three communities we “manage with heart”. Please come network\, mingle\, enjoy food and drink\, and take a tour of the many amenities that are offered at The Retreat!
