Our strength and potential multiply when we collaborate and work together towards a common purpose or goal. As women and as a community\, we’re so successful because we recognize and celebrate individuality while understanding that the sum of our collective efforts far surpasses what any one person could achieve independently. Together\, we become a force that can tackle larger challenges\, accomplish grander goals\, and bring our shared dreams to fruition. \nKeynote Speaker: Leah M. SUMMARY:Coaching Hour - Projecting Confidence
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Chamber on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 3:30-4:30 for training and guidance aimed at helping you develop\, grow\, and transform in and out of the office. \nChamber member Business & Life Coaches will provide workshops\, assessment tools\, and engaging presentations to improve your critical thinking & decision-making skills\, help you identify obstacles & achieve goals\, manage projects more efficiently & teams more effectively\, and more! \nThis session’s coach is Michael Dailey. \nTOPIC: Projecting Confidence and Positive Body Language in Business Communications \nUnderstanding body language can provide a wealth of information about a person’s feelings or intentions. In business\, the ability to read other’s body language can be the x-factor in closing the deal\, identifying deception\, or simply recognizing that you are not doing a great job at establishing rapport and need to make immediate adjustments. Conversely\, not having the same level of awareness about yourself can significantly limit your ability to be successful and provide the same indicators to be used against you. \nSPEAKER BIO: Drawing on years of experience in counterterrorism developing counterterror operatives\, law enforcement\, and behavioral detection officers\, Michael Dailey now helps build confidence in solo entrepreneurs and small business owners as well as CEOs and senior executives who want to master the art of radical rapport-building and genuine and charismatic engagements through advanced body language techniques. \nInterested in being one of our fantastic speakers?  Submit your application here

SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting: Hurtado Barbecue 4 Year Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:Join the Chamber Ambassadors for a Ribbon Cutting celebrating the 4-year anniversary of Hurtado Barbecue! \n\nHurtado Barbecue serves slow-smoked central Texas style barbecue with a Tex-Mex twist. \n\n\nFrom serving barbecue at pop-up events across north Texas to opening three brick and mortar locations in two years\, Hurtado Barbecue is an explosive success story that began with a simple passion for the pit. Brandon Hurtado and his wife Hannah started serving barbecue in 2018 to hungry brewery-goers in Arlington\, Denton and Fort Worth\, and after about a year of grueling experience in the pop-up events scene\, they graduated to a food truck in 2019 at Division Brewing in Arlington. Open only on Saturdays for lunch\, the food truck was an instant hit in Downtown Arlington\, which forced the Hurtado family to expand their hours after only a few months.\n\nA short time later\, the Hurtados agreed to open their first brick-and-mortar location in Downtown Arlington\, which is located inside of a tiny\, 120-year-old building and former railroad station on Front Street. The Arlington location opened in February 2020\, shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic hit\, forcing them to utilize only online ordering.\n\nFast forward to July 2022\, the Hurtado family announced they would once again expand their business\, this time to Southside Fort Worth\, Texas\, taking over the former Derek Allen’s Barbecue location. Hurtado Barbecue Fort Worth opened in September 2022 with expanded hours for breakfast and lunch to serve the local hospital community and beyond.\nThis growth has made Hurtado Barbecue one of the fastest growing independently-owned barbecue brands in the entire state\, with an additional concession location inside of the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field at Arlington Eats in Section 101. \n\nWe welcome all to attend this exciting event!
