SUMMARY:Business Resource Sessions - Credit Card Compliance
DESCRIPTION:Business Resource Sessions – resources & tools to grow your business! \nJoin us at the Chamber on the first Wednesday of the month from 3:00 to 4:00 to hear from and engage with industry leaders about how to grow\, protect\, and efficiently run your business. \nSPEAKER: Roderick Floyd \nTOPIC: Navigating PCI Compliance: Safeguarding Your Business from Hidden Risks and Fees \nDESCRIPTION: The compliance landscape has changed\, and any business accepting any amount of credit cards is subject to the Payment Card Industry (PCI). Many businesses assume that they are out of the scope of PCI\, their platform handles it\, or that they don’t have to be PCI compliant but that’s just not true.\nNearly ¾ of businesses are non-compliant\, a risk that could erode your business from the inside and lead to cyberattack and liability. In March of 2024\, PCI 4.0 rolled out with a whole new set of requirements and you’re likely PCI non-compliant as a result! Not only are you likely being charged exorbitant non-compliance fees (which is likely the reason your credit card processing fees have recently gone up) but there are also many other hidden dangers to being PCI non-compliant. Come learn how to get your business compliant.  \nSPEAKER BIO: Roderick Floyd has earned two degrees in Computer Technology and Network Security. He has enjoyed 20+ Years in the IT Industry. As the Owner / President of CMIT Solutions of Arlington\, he loves helping people solve problems. SUMMARY:Coaching Hour - Procrastination

With simple changes\, we can use our time more effectively with less stress and greater life satisfaction. \nSPEAKER BIO: Kellie Manderfeld is a success coach\, with an expertise in time management and approaching goals from a place of strength.
