SUMMARY:Legends & Leaders
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Texas Rangers\, join us for our most exclusive event\, Legends & Leaders\, on Thursday\, July 28 from 5:30-9:00PM. This year\, we are set to be at Globe Life Field under the stars. \nThis year\, we will have Chris Cassidy as our Legend. Although he is the President & CEO of the National Medal of Honor Museum\, our conversation will center around his legendary status as an astronaut and his time on the International Space Station. He’s one of only 405 Americans that have experienced orbital space travel since the space race began in 1961. \nOur Leader will be UTA’s new president Dr. Jennifer Cowley. As UTA’s 10th President and 1st female President\, she officially joined the team on April 28. “I believe that The University of Texas at Arlington can be one of the nation’s most inclusive and impactful research universities. We owe it to ourselves and to the state of Texas to achieve this goal.”
