DESCRIPTION:Business Resource Sessions – resources & tools to grow your business! \nJoin us at the Chamber on the first Wednesday of the month from 3:00 to 4:00 to hear from and engage with industry leaders about how to grow\, protect\, and efficiently run your business. \nSPEAKER: Victor Fishman of the Texas Research Alliance  \nTOPIC: Unlocking University Partnerships: Free Resources for Small & Mid-Sized Businesses \nDESCRIPTION: Join the Texas Research Alliance for a session exploring how small and mid-sized businesses can collaborate with universities to tackle challenges of any size. Discover TRA’s role as a free resource\, learn engagement strategies\, and unlock the full potential of university partnerships across diverse problem areas. \nSPEAKER BIO: Dr. Fishman has served at the organizational interface for industry\, government\, and academia. Prior to the Texas Research Alliance and the North Texas Center for Mobility Technologies\, he served as Associate Vice President for Applied Research at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Fishman built the full range of high-performance computing\, additive and subtractive manufacturing and mechanical design and prototyping capabilities that supported both industry and faculty. At Penn State University\, he held the industrial\, government agency\, and HBCU portfolios for the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL)\, a DoD level University Affiliated Research Center (UARC).
