Business Resource Sessions – resources & tools to grow your business!

Join us at the Chamber on the first Wednesday of the month from 3:00 to 4:00 to hear from and engage with industry leaders about how to grow, protect, and efficiently run your business.

TOPIC: Stop the Confusion: The 7 Steps to Developing a Team Communications Charter

DESCRIPTION: Living in the “Information Age”, most teams are overwhelmed with choices as they struggle to share relevant business information with each other across various channels at all hours. They’re bombarded with nonsense and frustrated that they can’t find the material that actually matters. This costs leaders time and money, and results in increased workplace frustration and anxiety. People start to check-out leading to decreased productivity and increased retention problems. The solution is to develop an effective Team Communications Charter, in which a Team works together through the 7 Steps framework and agrees on how they will effectively communicate with one another.

SPEAKER: Tony Brock of the Anthony Brock Group

BIO: A former Intelligence Officer and Navy Commander (Ret.) turned Executive Leadership Coach, Tony Brock leverages his talent in storytelling and experience leading high-performance teams — to include support to our U.S. Navy SEALs — to support those who step up to the challenges and responsibilities of executive leadership. Tony is a seasoned business practitioner with an MBA, and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) & Advisor (Georgetown University). Additionally, he serves as the Executive Director for the National Medal of Honor Griffin Institute, which focuses on character and leadership development nationally; and as military veteran employment transition coach (pro bono) with The Honor Foundation.
