Mind Meld with the Young Professionals

Join the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals for our December Mind Meld as we explore “Leadership.” You don’t need a title to lead. This open discussion is about what leadership looks like at every stage of a career, from guiding a project to influencing a team to earning trust before you ever have direct reports.

We’ll talk about what leadership looks like day to day: communicating clearly, giving and receiving feedback, making decisions when the answer isn’t obvious, and leading peers and people more senior than you. We’ll also unpack the difference between managing tasks and leading people.

This informal round table invites you to share what’s working, where you feel stuck, and which leaders have shaped how you lead today. Whether you’re stepping into your first leadership role, leading without formal authority, or looking to sharpen the skills you already have, this is a space to learn from other young professionals who are figuring it out in real time.
