“We are excited to welcome Cohort III to the Arlington Civic Engagement Institute and look forward to broadening their knowledge of civic engagement and strengthening their leadership skills,” Michael Jacobson, Chamber President & CEO.
Cohort III of the Arlington Civic Engagement Institute will undergo an immersive six-month program developing leaders at every level, from neighborhood organizations to nonprofit boards, local commissions and elected office. Designed to transform a passion for service into meaningful action, the curriculum offers in-depth knowledge and practical insights on knowing and leading in your community, the “why” and “how” of seeking elected office, and strategies for serving effectively once elected.
