The Center for Innovation at Arlington represents a collaborative public/private sector partnership, led by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington), focusing on the commercialization of technology based research as a means of supporting the evolutionary development of integrated clusters supported by UT Arlington and community’s research. Collectively, the Center is focused on (1) fostering technology discovery, commercialization, and incubation of technology based companies, (2) the formation of and access to venture and angel capital, (3) providing business and technical assistance through proof of concept, product, and market phases, and (4) supporting entrepreneurial development. Implementation is in partnership with our region’s educational institutions, governmental entities, and the business community. Center for Entrepreneurship |
As One-Stop Shop the Center supports entrepreneurial and small business development providing access to services necessary to launch businesses successfully into the marketplace as clients consult with subject matter experts from different agencies. More Info |
The Arlington Technology Incubator, LLC |
The Incubator provides the critical link between business and academia. It primarily serves to (1) interface with UT Arlington's Faculty and staff, in terms of identifying commercializable research, and (2) to interface with the private sector to link venture capital and business and technical assistance with the discovery, as the critical components necessary to the development of start up companies. It also serves as a starting point to "incubate" products or ideas that are within 3 years or less of becoming stand-alone companies. More Info |
UT Arlington's Office of ResearchTechnology Management |
The Center For Innovation houses UT Arlington's Office of Research on the 2nd floor, including the Technology Management Office, enabling the Incubator to effectively facilitate the interaction necessary to introduce leading edge university research into the private sector, by fostering academic/industry research partnerships. The Stakeholders Network |
The Stakeholders Network, affiliated with the Center for Innovation, is comprised of individuals and businesses that provide business and technical assistance to clients in both the Center for Entrepreneurship and the Arlington Technology Incubator. These services include legal assistance, accounting and financial planning assistance, marketing research and organizational assistance. More Info |
Angel Network |
The Angel Network, affiliated with the Center for Innovation at Arlington, is comprised of high net worth individuals who make equity investments directly into growing companies, usually as the ventures are starting up. Angels are often the first outside, arms-length investors that an entrepreneur engages. More Info |
North Texas Technology Council |
The NTTC’s mission is to promote the technology industry in North Texas through fostering Technology organization and University collaboration as well as to provide a diverse forum to build recognition of North Texas as a global leader in technology development and application.The NTTC serves and promotes all members and aspects of the technology community in a 23 county area in North Texas, and advocates for the growth of all technology in the region. By channeling the collective vision and interests of the North Texas technology community into one strong unified voice, the NTTC is building recognition of North Texas as a global technology leader, and contributing to the increased economic prosperity of North Texas.
